Matt Hargrave
I am a cinematographer and editor currently based in Manila. Upon graduating from Boston University in 2004 with a degree in Film and Television I spent four years working in many capacities for a Boston based production house and the New England Sports Network, the highest rated regional sports network in the US.
After a near-death experience when a storm hit while climbing Katahdin, the mountain which forms the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, I decided to drastically change my life. I spent a few months traveling North and South America before accepting a position with a production house in The Philippines. Next I worked as an editor for an animation studio in Beijing and then as a shooter/editor/producer for a production house in Shanghai. After returning to the States I spent time freelancing on the intricate sets of NY and LA, then spent three years as a shooter/editor/producer on the high seas for Princess Cruises. I am currently setting up a boutique adventure tourism company with a high-end video component.
Some of the clients I have worked for include Harvard, MIT, Google, Twitter, the US Navy, Reebok, Martha Stewart, PBS, Elite Model, and Fashion TV. I'm always looking to be part of any exciting and creative projects so let me know if you have anything in mind!
